Saturday 24th November, Telegraph Hill Centre AGM – All welcome to come along to the Centre Lounge between 11am and 12noon to find out more about how the Centre works, reflect on the past year’s achievements & finances. Community Reps for the Management Group to be elected—nomination forms are available from the Centre Office.
120 years of St Catherine’s, Hatcham
Also on Saturday 24th November, there will be a celebratory evening to mark the 120th birthday of St Catherine’s Church. The event will showcase talented local musicians, choirs, solo performers, and surprise acts. There will also be a pop-up café-bar in the Centre.

Panto – Babes in the Wood
Friday 30th November to Sunday 2nd December is Panto time. This year’s production is Babes in the Wood which will perform at Telegraph Hill Centre. Babes in the Wood tells the story of Jack & Jill, two young orphans with a fortune . . . and a scheming uncle. Will kindly Granny Smith protect our babes from their uncle, the evil Sheriff of Mottingham? Will Robin Good save the day, rescue our babes and win the hand of Marian?
Come and see the show to find out! There are four shows across three days, including two matinee performances.

Some tickets will be available on the door but you are advised to book in advance as the Panto usually sells out fast. This show is a fundraiser for Telegraph Hill Centre and all proceeds will go towards the refurbishment of the Centre.
Grow Wild – Field Kitchen at Common Growth
On Saturday 25th November from 2 – 3pm Grow Wild will be setting up a field kitchen in the Common Growth for a soup making workshop!
What better way to warm yourself up after a winter walk or even a spot of gardening! So do drop in and find out how you can make deliciously healthy soup from locally sourced ingredients such as leeks and herbs picked. You never know, you might even get to taste some soup made with ingredients straight from the Common Growth garden!
The Common Growth garden is next to Franklin House on the corner of Sandbourne and Jerningham Roads—SE4 2NT. This will now be a regular event, and other dates planned for December 9th, 23rd and 30th and 6th January 2013.

Christmas Craft Fair
The Craft Collective Christmas Fair on Saturday 15 December will take place from 11.00am to 4.00pm. It’s ideal for lovely gifts, mulled wine, mince pies and other treats, mini-workshops, live music, photos taken in the glittering craft forest and piñatas for the kids to break!

Telegraph Hill Festival
The 2013 Telegraph Hill Festival will be held next year from Friday 8th to Sunday 24th March 2013. If you would like to put together an event, or
volunteer to help in any way – anything from shifting chairs, to stewarding, to delivering the programmes in the month before – contact Vanessa Lloyd the Festival Chair through the Festival website or pick up a form at the Telegraph Hill Centre or The Hill Station.
The Community Show Registration Weekend will probably be 5th and 6th January—be sure to check the Telegraph Hill Festival website nearer the time.
