AGM – Every year, the Centre’s Steering Group holds a meeting to report on what’s been going on and plans for the future. EVERYONE who uses the Centre or lives, works or studies locally is entitled to attend.
This year come and meet Sue Morgan, the newly appointed Centre Manager. She will share some of her initial vision for the Centre and there will be space for her to hear from you.
Steering Group – The group that steers the Centre’s operations has six members from the Church and six from the Community. Please consider joining if you’d like to help shape the way the building is used and run. The group meets every 6 weeks on Monday evenings at 7pm for 90 minutes.
The building – Telegraph Hill Centre sits at the heart of the community it serves. The building is owned by St Catherine’s PCC, and the ground floor spaces of the main Centre building is available for hire to the community. Find out a little bit more about recent challenges and the way that Church and Centre work together.
- Join the Steering Group – We need thinkers, doers, strategists, fundraisers, artists, accountants…. if you think you’ve got something to contribute, we’d love to hear from you. This group helps to decide the way the Centre is used and run. At our AGM on July 15th at 11am we will vote to form the new THCMG. These are volunteer roles.
- Be our Chair – Telegraph Hill Centre’s Steering Group is looking for a new Chair. This person would work with the Centre Manager, the Vicar and the rest of the Steering Group to help create and deliver the strategy for the Centre over the next five years. Do you have experience in project management, HR, chairing meetings, fundraising, working for a charity or community organisation? Are you interested in this community and in helping the Centre to run more effectively? Do you have capacity to step up and take on this role? The role of Chair will require a commitment of 10 hours a month.
