Branching Out Coordinator

Telegraph Hill Centre is looking for a new Branching Out coordinator on a part-time basis on a 10-hour week schedule at a £14/hour rate. Working hours are flexible, with Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm as the only fixed working hours.
Responsibilities include: warmly welcoming and assisting visitors, building strong relationships with Branching Out members, volunteers and partners, creating social events, supporting marketing and promotional efforts and managing a diverse and dynamic activities timetable.
Excellent literacy, numeracy, social media, and IT skills (proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel) are crucial, as is prior experience in interacting with the public or service users and working effectively as part of a team.
Branching Out is an inclusive and lively social club specifically designed for older adults at the Telegraph Hill Centre. Branching Out offers engaging activities and programs to cater to various interests. Members can participate in weekly sessions ranging from rejuvenating Pilates classes to promote strength and flexibility, exploring the graceful art of Tai Chi to enhance balance and mindfulness, Art Classes where members can unleash their artistic talents and express themselves freely and Theatre movement workshops offer opportunities to explore self-expression and embrace the joy of physical storytelling, as well as a monthly Book Club where book lovers can share literary experiences and engage in stimulating discussions and also join our monthly Knitting Club to learn new techniques and create beautiful handcrafted pieces.
