Free summer fun and food club

Jul 31, 2019 | News

Telegraph Hill Centre and St Catherine’s Church have teamed up again to tackle holiday hunger – a helping hand for local children and their families. The project was set up in summer 2018. This year, the ‘success’ of the project has proved just how needed this volunteer run service is, and just how stressed many families are.

Summer holidays can be expensive, lonely, hard work and hungry for some – school meals aren’t available, parents may be unable to take time off work, and young people can be lonely and feel left out as friends and school mates go on holiday.

If you’d like to help us by volunteering please get in touch. Help is needed every Tuesday and Thursday through August.

This FREE summer fun and food club creates a space for children and young people under 12 years of age to enjoy themselves, and for parents or guardians to relax – with free food and activities on offer. It runs each Tuesday and Thursday from 4pm to 6pm through August 2019.

Come – check all the details below.
