Community Production 2023

Dec 5, 2022 | Events, News

After 3 fallow years, the Telegraph Hill Community Show is back!Building on songs we created for our cabaret show last April, we will be bringing you FERDINAND THE MUSICAL!Based on the well known 1930s children’s story – Ferdinand the Bull – which was banned by the Nazis for the powerful anti-fascist message which ran beneath the surface of its simple tale, we will be creating a piece of theatre about community, family, freedom, peace, love and understanding which works on multiple levels and will appeal to all ages. We’ve got the basic songs and story in place, but we need you to help us develop the show further and bring it to life. This is a unique opportunity to create & collaborate on something totally new!Key Dates for your diary (timings to follow)Registration:Saturday 7th January: Reception & Yrs 1 & 2 @ 2:00pm, Yrs 3 & 4 @ 3:00pm, Yrs 5 & 6 @ 4:00pm, 11-18yrs @ 5:00pmTuesday 10th January: Adults @ 8:00pmRehearsals:Commencing 10th January with one weekend off at half term TBCTuesday evenings: All AdultsSaturday afternoons: Primary school childrenSunday afternoons: Secondary school & Lead AdultsPerformances:4 shows 18th & 19th MarchThis is Community Theatre and we need YOU to make this happen!
