Earlier this year, Telegraph Hill Centre and the lovely people from Grow Wild worked together to build a cob oven. What is a cob oven you might ask? Well, cob ovens are built using traditional and sustainable techniques and materials; materials like clay, sand, gravel, water, rubble and straw … and a lot of people power and hard work. Well done all involved. About a week ago it was time to start using the cob oven to make lovely pizzas. Here are some pics from the day:
