*FREE WEEKLY CLASS*
Make & Chat Mondays is a gentle art and creative writing group, running from 1-3pm each Monday, where we are inspired by repair, recycling, and transforming the ordinary.
We run alongside Mend it with Mo, the Centre’s monthly repair cafe, and, as much as possible use easily available and preloved materials.
It’s a drop in, but you are very welcome to come each week. Previous art forms include collage, paper-making, weaving, making garlands, tissue paper stained glass, recycled paper bowls…….

This Spring, we will meet from 1-3pm on the 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd February, and 2nd March. In these 5 sessions, the group will be thinking about whether we have a wild side, and making some imaginary creatures from fabric, collage, and 3 D modelling with the artist Rhiannon Parry. This is an excellent opportunity if you are experiencing a creative rut, which you’re ready to overcome! We’d love to see you there!
Tea, coffee, and biscuits available.
The group is led by Breaks & Joins, a project exploring the repair of our stuff, ourselves, and our communities.
