Spring has sprung and now is the time to plant out your garden, patio or window box and get advice from the plant doctor on wildlife and bee friendly plants and where and when to grow them.
- When: Saturday 31 May 1 – 4pm
- Where: Telegraph Hill Centre
- Admission: £2
- Find them on Facebook
Throughout the Plant Fair, there will be free ‘pop-up’ talks from nursery experts on problem garden situations such as tackling shade, how to use plants as screens, creating colourful containers for small spaces and 3-dimensional gardening.
The plants, trees and shrubs available on the day will be UK-grown and will be different (and better) than routine usual garden-centre fare. Many of the knowledgeable people manning the stalls on the day own the nurseries the plants they sell come from, so you’ll be sure to get good advice.
There will also be hand-tied English cut flowers fresh from the nursery and vintage garden tools.
Oh, and did we mention the tombola which will give you a chance to win some prizes? Well, we have now!
Come along to Telegraph Hill Centre on the 31st May, 1-4pm.
